Microsoft Update

I haven't had any problems with downloading and
installing with any of the updates with the exception on
1. That update is the Nvidia in critical updates, it
always fails. Is there ANY way I can down load this and
do the update myself?
 
Go to Nvidia's web site, and download the latest from them.

When you view the updates to install, there should be a link for "more" information. Click on that to get a popup description which usually contains a link to download the update directly. Install it that way and be done with it.

I don't know why this happens with some, but not all, updates and it doesn't seem to be consistent across various systems. The above workaround takes little time and takes care of the problem with that update.
