Just for beta note:

I use Windows XP and Nero 6.3.x (don't remember the exact build) and I use
both a CDRW and DVDRW drive and have had no problems burning both CDRs, RW,
DVDR - and + and DVD+RW.

Do you know what the CPU useage of MS AS Beta 1.0 was during your burns?
Maybe something was wrong and MS AS 1.0 beta may have been using too much
CPU and thus reducing your hard drive throughput?

But as for me, it's working great.

I agree with Tester.

On some systems, on some installs, Microsoft Antispyware seems to use
excessive CPU, based on reports here. Are you seeing any other performance
impact that you notice?

I noticed that you used the term "couldn't start Nero anymore" instead of
"Nero having burning issues".

The first poster could still use Nero, but with burning issues, most likely
buffer underruns. If you are not able to run Nero at all anymore. I would
reinstall Nero first before trying to trouble shoot anything else. Also when
did Nero stop running? Right after installing MS AS Beta 1.0 but BEFORE
doing a scan/clean? Or did you install MS AS Beta scan and find something
that you then cleaned, and THEN Nero stopped working? If so, I would still
reinstall Nero first to make sure it will at least run with MS AS Beta
installed. Which Nero work with MS AS Beta for me just fine.
