Microsoft Small Business Server

Matt

I am planning on adding a web site to a microsoft small business
server but have no experience in this server.

How easy is it to ftp the web pages on to the server - where do they
go?

Does the server have frontpage extensions installed by default, as I
would need to utilise these?

I realise this is basic stuff, but any hints and tips would be very
gratefully received.

This isn't difficult. After installing IIS, just make
sure the FTP service is set to Autostart, and use
Internet Services manager to set up a virtual directory
from the FTP root to some point with c:\inetpub\wwwroot.

However, if you're going to use FrontPage, then don't set
up FTP at all. Just publish through the server extensions.

Yes, but verify the option when you install IIS.

Actually, it's best NOT to install the extensions when
you install IIS, because the version on the server CD is
usually out of date. After installing IIS, download and
install the current extensions from
