Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro

I have tried to load the driver from the floppy disk and each time I try it comes up saying that the the installation has been unsucessful. It comes up with the words it can only be installed by the administrater, well thats me.
Any ideas.

click on Add, scroll down to "Microsoft SideWinder", then
click on OK. You can also click the Customize button to
add special characteristics.
