Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP MCE v1.0 with Vista

Like many others, I have purchased the Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows
XP MCE v1.0 with Vista, which microsoft says should work with Vista but it
doesn't. The media centre keys work alright, but the mouse and keyboard
don't. If anyone has managed to get the keyboard to work with Vista, please
let us know how.

Well there is a similar post in the XP newsgroups and it has been suggested
by a MVP to post on a Vista newsgroup, hence it being posted here. I am
trying to get the keyboard to work with Vista Ultimate, so any help here will
be appreciated.
