MICROSOFT POP UPS

I HAD TO RESTORE MY COMPUTER, WHEN I WENT TO INSTALL THE
WINDOWS MESSENGER IT SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE A LOT OF
MICROSOFT POP UPS. PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET RID OF
THIS.

Windows Messenger has nothing to do with internet pop-ups. What your
thinking of is the messenger service. This is different from Windows
Messenger. To stop spammers from sending you messenger service pop-up ads
all you have to do is turn on the xp firewall or install and enable a third
party firewall. Always run the firewall and messenger service pop-up ads
will cease to exist.

Turn off cap lock, you're shouting.
If you have download the new messenger from Microsoft you will not get any
popups, as a matter of fact the new messenger has a pop-up blocker built in
and it works pretty good too.

Well since windows messenger doesn't do popups, doesn't have anything to do
with pop-ups, does not have that message when installing or any other time
ever, I can only assume they mean the messenger service pop-ups as many
people get the two confused. Windows messenger does not have such a message,
ever. Whatever they meant its clear they are confused.
