Hi,

If your outlook PST is corrupt and is not working normal
way, then you need to first search for the right
outlook.pst fiel on your system and then copy and paste
it on your desktop.

search for the SCANPST tool on your system and then
double click it. It opens up and gives you an option to
browse. browse the target location for teh outlook pst
and then bring it into teh repair tool and then click on
start to repar teh pST.
If teh PST is more than 1.5 GB or 1.8 GB teh scan takes
a long time - u need to wqait and look if it has
discovered any errors - then press teh option to rectify
teh errors in teh PST.
Leme tell u - scanpst tool is not a very robust tool. It
may get you results and sometimes if teh PST is highly
damaged it may not help

Regards
Sajjad

How do you use the "inbox repair tool"?

With Outlook closed, run the program named SCANPST.EXE. That's the Inbox
Repair Tool. It will ask you to browse to your PST and select it. Do that.
It will scan it for errors and, if any are found, will repair them but
making a second copy of your PST. It won't modify the original. You don't
have to copy your PST anywhere, despite what Sajjad said.
