Microsoft Outlook

Does anyone know why in Microsoft Outlook, operating
system XP, it shows messages are still in Outlook, even
though there are none there. When I close outlook down,
a message pops up that there are still messages in
Outlook, but there are none.

One solution: Go to Microsoft site. Search for Power Toys
for Windows XP and download Tweak IU. Open Tweak IU and
expand Login item. Click the unread mail item. Dialog box
should allow you to reset unread messages.
