Microsoft Outlook--weird problem and I need help

I used my email Friday at 4 p.m., no problem. When I reopened around 11 that
night it would only show that that I had received emails, but nothing but a
blue screen showed up in the Reading Pane...it told me it the message could
not be shown. When I tried to open the message, it told me it could not open
them, even messages that I had read earlier in the day. (I do notice that in
the little box where it usually reads 'messages' that 'messages' comes up and
then disappears.) Any ideas on what is going on or how to fix it?

Your outlook.pst information store may be corrupt. I would use the Options
to change to a new PST file and send a test message to yourself to see if
that works. Office includes a repair tool for a damaged .pst.
