Each time I open my email two message are constantly looped. They cycle for
about 30 second before errorring out, then the rest of my message are
displayed. I have tried everything to get rid of these two error messages,
please help. When I access my email online through my ISP, avoiding outlook
it works fine. I tried outlook express, it just locks up and will not display
any messages anymore.

What are the error messages? Are these outgoing mails that are not sending or
incoming that are not being received?

This is the response -
Task 'pop.charter.net - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) :
'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP)
server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

It appears to be two incoming messages that are looping..there is nothing in
my outgoing mail; that feature works fine. It just takes a minute or so to
get my email, in addition, if I leave it open I will get my other mail
several times...it just keeps loading it.

Is this Outlook 2002? Does your mail server require both SSL security (secure
sockets layer) and SPA (secure password authenticaton)? If this is the case,
please check Microsoft KB 827149. If this is not the case, please provide
your version of Outlook. Thanks!

The most likely cause of this is that your antivirus program has an Outlook
add-in. Disable scanning mail and try again.
