Microsoft Outlook, send and receive all, "the operation failed"

Suddenly I receive the error message "the operation failed" when attempting
to send and receive all in outlook. My emails dowload automatically every 5
minutes, but I cannot just grab them through the send and receive all
function. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Lots of posts lately concerning issues surrounding internet security related
products and Outlook 2003. Have you tried creating a new profile via the
mail applet in the control panel? Outside of that, you might have to
uninstall/reinstall any internet security related product that scans e-mail.
(e.g. do not install the e-mail integration features.)
