Microsoft Outlook rename the attached file from Thunberbird

Hi,

I sent some attached Microsoft Word (.doc) files from Mozilla
Thunderbird mail client to Microsoft Outlook 2003 mail client. I was in
suprise that some of files (not all) had been renamed to ATT000xx.doc.
(Please noticed that other mail client such as Eudora could receive as
well)

Why that was happen? When the Outlook rename the attachment file?
