Microsoft outlook freezes

ok, I had problems replying mails, but not creating,
them. When i tried to reply a mail i got freezed only the
reply window, i could only close it with the task manager
and then continue using outlook.I thought that it was
fault of the word (because i have seen something similar
before), so i disable it. Now i can create mails and send
them, but when i trie to reply them it gets freeze. any
idea?

I forgot it, it's outlook 2002 running on windows XP
