Microsoft Office w/Front Page

S

Sandy

I have Miscoroft Office XP Professional with Publisher
Version 2002.

Microsoft Front Page is listed in My Computer under
program files and the version that is installed is v3.0.
The only way I can get to this program is through
Microsoft Word.

Why isn't Front Page listed in my program files from the
Start button? MS Access, Excel, Outlook, Power Point,
Publish, and Word are all listed.

Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandy

You only have FP, if you have purchase FP. The folder under the Program Folder is installed by
Windows OS.

FP is *not* part of that office suite.
The 3.0 you see is not FP, it is a folder put in by the operating system.
To do what, we really don't know.

What you're seeing under Program Files isn't a full
version of FrontPage; it's something called the Web
Emulation Client (WEC). This is the software that Office
programs (other than FrontPage) use when they open or save
a document into a FrontPage Web site.

To get FrontPage, you have to buy a stand-alone copy. It's
not currently included in any Office bundles.
