Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 locking up

I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and McAfee Internet Security Suite
v7.0..
When I open Outlook, send/receive goes to 25% and then freezes... Soon after
that Outlook stops responding..

Has anybody had this problem and/or does anybody know how to fix this
problem...

I have just had a similar experience with Outlook 2003. After reinstalling
Office several times and reading many posts here, I started thinking about
external programs with hooks into Outlook. I remembered that I had just
installed WinFax last week. The installation was not a smooth one.

The bottom line is that I unionstalled WinFax and I am back in business.
