ll,

I'm sure this has been addressed somehwere in here. Anyways, can you
provide assiatance on what would cause all of the Office 2007 not to work? I
have Powerpoint, Excel, and Word (I'm geeting the same msg as others).
Thanks in advance for the feedback. I'd attempt to reload again, but can not
find my product key for my disc.

Thanks

Mike

Please provide more information:

Describe what you mean by "not work".

What "message" are you seeing?

"Word/Excel/Powerpoint is not responding" "would you like to open in Safe
Mode?"
I just ran the MS Office Diagnostics with no problems showing.

Uninstall Microsoft Office, then reinstall it.

Ran a virus scan and everything...nothing..

I would love to, but we have misplaced our Product Key Number for our disk.
Any suggestions

Visit http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and download the free
Belarc Advisor. After running the program, look under the section titled
"Software Licenses".

You could try a system restore to before the problem developed. You could
then proceed forward with whatever you did that caused the problem.

"Product Key Finder PRO" claims to fish the keys out from the system.
I don't know if it works or if its safe.

let you know where I stand. Mucha appreciated

Mike

Carey,

Loaded and good to go...But now its telling me the "BCM Office Admin";
"office application doesn't match". The document opens, but how do I get rid
of the message??

Thanks

Mike

Got it going...but now i'm dealing with "BCN office Admin"; "office
application doesn't match".. Thoughts??/

Peter,

Detect and Repair is no longer available in Office 2007. New name, new
process...

Do the following in these 2007 Microsoft Office system programs:

Access, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word:
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Access Options, Excel
Options, PowerPoint Options, or Word Options.
Click Resources.
Click Diagnose, click Continue, and then click Start Diagnostics.
InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Project, SharePoint Designer, and
Visio:
On the Help menu, click Office Diagnostics.
Click Continue, and then click Start Diagnostics.
How do I run Office Diagnostics if I can't run an Office program?
If necessary, you can run Office Diagnostics from the Start menu.

In Microsoft Windows, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft
Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Office
Diagnostics.

Did you try to run Detect and Repair from the Help menu ?

Charles,

Thanks...I've corrected the problem; now I' looking a at BCM message popup
stating "office application version does not match". I originally had MS Home
and Student and did a trail version of Porfessional. I uninstalled
Porfessional and reinstalled Home and Student. Anyways to get rid of that
message everytime I click on a document that may have been created with
Porfessional???

Thanks

Mike
