Microsoft .Net Framwork 1.1

Running XP Pro SP2 and IE6 SP1.

Basically getting use to new XP and curious as to what the above program
is/does.

Also continue to accumulate *.xml files in my 'User > Local Settings > Temp
folder (over 325 now). Saw something awhile ago that these and this program
may be related?

Can anyone explain these?

Nothing, unless you have programs on your machine that use .Net Framework.
I have no programs like that on my machine. In fact I do not have .NET
Framework on my machine.

If they are in a Temp folder delete them. XP will not let you delete if
they are in use.
