Has anyone installed this update? Does it work OK?
"Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1"
This is for WinXP

Thanks! Its just that once you put it in place you can't remove it!
These big ones make me a bit un-nerved. Sp2 didn't work at all!

I have tried to install it (from the MS website and another time I used
Flashget downloader)twice and it failed, saying:

Fatal execution engine error (0x7927baca)
Applicaqtion has generated an exception that could not be handled.

I've got the same problem.
I also cannot install and run Windows Media Connect and get an error message
when I try to run it.

I have installed XP SP2
I'm wondering if there is a relationship between these two problems.
I was able to install Media Center Connect on my Toshiba laptop and it works
fine. But no-go on my HP desktop PC.

Will someone help me PLEASE? I have a Framework folder on my desktop. Can you
tell me where the folder really belongs? It contains my downloaded files
relative to Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. Somehow I moved the
folder from it's original location to my desktop. Thank you.
