I have to reinstalled back to Window XP Media Center 2005 SP2, did not go to
window update to install all 79 critical updates 8-9 hours on dial-up and
just install Window Vista upgrade right away. Does Window Vista upgrade
automatically install all update to Microsoft.Net Framework 1.1? Is
Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 suppose to be Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 SP1?
Can anyone check in program and features if it's suppose to be Microsoft.NET
Framework 1.1 SP1? or C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework show version folders?

on C: Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework i have the following Version.

v1.0.3705
v1.1.4322 is this the latest updated version? i remember that they have
Microsoft.Net Framework 1.1 SP1 update.
v2.0.50727
v3.0

I'm not sure how to metabolize all the info here, but if you install Vista
whether you upgrade from legacy or do a full install, you're going to have
..net framework 3.0 along for the ride. If you have a particular application
that requires another .net framework, you can install it from MSFT downloads
at www.microsoft.com/downloads . I have seen conflicts rarely but they
occur. For example BCM 2003 that was an add-in to Outlook would not
tolerate a newer .net framework than 1.1 on the OS.

I don't know what will happen to your 1.1 in the upgrade situation, but
you'll definitely acqure .net framework 3.0 if you load Vista.
