When Microsoft offers something...you complain.
When Microsoft does not offer something...you complain.

This is really old news.
It has been around a while and the newsgroups have been saturated with this
information since the Beta release.
You really need to catch up if you want to post "News"

When Microsoft offers something...you complain.
When Microsoft does not offer something...you complain.

Excuse me, but I wasn't complaining; I was just making a sarcastic comment,
thank you.

And sorry for not keeping up with all the biz of the technology world... my
life doesn't revolve around computers.

Now Microsoft is planning on entering the antivirus market. (I imagine most
hackers will have a field day with this.)

I've always been of the opinion that MS _should_ provide av and as
protections with their OSes and was pleased to see MSAV included with
certain DOS versions and am please to see their current efforts at as
and the comming av solutions.

Ironically, some people (including me at times) complain that MS sells
vulnerable software and a lot of the same people (not including me)
complain when MS makes efforts to help make their products more secure.
3rd party developers will just have to compete or move on to other
arenas. Trust me, there's plenty to do out there in software development
and smart businesses will shift their eggs into other baskets if need be.
