I can not find a listing for Microsoft mail. Would anyone happen to use it.
Would it be considered an upgrade to Outlook 2002. It is available to
download as part of office live.

That product was discontinued many years ago. Upgrades to Outlook 2002
also have "Outlook" in their product name. So what product were you
really looking for?

Windows Live Mail perhaps? That is a replacement to Outlook Express and
Vista's Windows Mail. It is NOT an upgrade to any version of Outlook.
It is a substitute e-mail client, just like Thunderbird, Eudora, Pegasus
Mail, and others are different choices for an e-mail client.

If "Microsoft Mail" meant to ask about "Windows Live Mail" then get it
from http://get.live.com/. Just be sure to UNCHECK all the extra crap
that they want to download. Even after selecting to install only
Windows Live Mail, Microsoft will install other fluff, so check the
Add/Remove Programs applet to see what else they installed.

If you want to ask questions (or just lurk to read about problems and
solutions) about Windows Live Mail, go visit their newsgroup at:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

(It used to be called Windows Live Mail Desktop to denote it was a
desktop or local e-mail client but "Desktop" got dropped from the
product title yet the newsgroup did not change its name).

Thanks I got it wrong. I have been having some trouble with my mail. I have
six e-mail accounts with roadrunner and one of the addresses is hanging on
the server. They said change the password but that did not help. I saw that
on a Microsoft update and just wondered if I should try it.

If you can't access the account in your current Mail Client (Outlook
Express?), I'd expect the same behavior in any other Mail Client (e.g.,
Windows Live Mail).

You /know/ that we might be able to help you with the problem you're
currently having in OE General newsgroup, right?

I will try that PA but I really think it is a roadrunner problem. Thanks for
all your help.
