Hello! Microsoft Windows Server Solutions Group is HIRING!! Mutliple

Description: Are you interested in bringing complex server based
solutions to customers in the largest segment of the business
environment, the small business? Do you relish the opportunity to
incorporate diverse technology into a tuned and well-managed
client-server environment? SBS provides both the infrastructure and
solutions that small businesses need as their first Windows server by
being simple to setup/configure, easy to maintain, and providing a ton
of end user value right out of the box.

Recently released SBS 2003 has out-performed it's volume and revenue
goals, received outstanding product reviews, and collected many
accolades (including winning the 2003 Comdex best of show). SBS isn't
standing still however, we are planning bigger things around the ease
of use and configuration improvements needed to bring SBS to an even
wider audience in our Longhorn version (Codename Cougar). One of the
most exciting and challenging areas we are making big investments is
around initial setup and configuration. To allow us to widen the
availability of SBS, we are looking for a developer to design and build
SBS with the new Longhorn setup technologies, as well as create a
"headless" SBS version.

The primary responsibilities of this position are: (a) working with PM
and Marketing to understand the customer data in order to provide the
best possible user experience; (b) designing an extensible architecture
for providing this solution within the SBS framework; (c) developing
this feature and tracking it through all aspects of the development
cycle; and (d) working with other members of the SBS development team
to help ensure that all of our code has high quality, secure designs
and outstanding implementations.

The ideal candidate will have proven coding skills, the ability to
clearly interact with other disciplines and groups across the company,
and customer empathy for the Small Business Server user. This candidate
will require: 5+ years development experience in C/C++/C# ; proficiency
in reading, writing, and debugging code; testing and test automation
aptitude required; knowledge of Windows Server and its related
technologies; ability to drive technologies both within the SBS team
and also with other WSD teams.
