Starting in development. NET/C#

Friends,

I am starting in development. NET/C# and would like to know some
things:

- The technology is good? Enough resources?
- Professionals who work with C # are valued in the market?

Friends, any help is welcome. Even if anyone has any website or
material to start learning, I would be grateful.
Thanks

C# has been arround for at least seven years, in beta before that for some
time, so yes, the technology is well established with tons of resources
available. Look for the MSDN Walkthroughs for some examples and tutorials on
various topics.

Yes, C# is marketable, or required for many jobs. There are jobs out there
for developers on platforms where C# is not valued though either. I think
it's more important to have a variety of languages available for a variety of
requirements.

You might like to check The Register's article "Ten years of .NET - Did
Microsoft deliver?"
