microsoft jet database engine run-time error 3011

Hello,
I have a database that runs an update procedure on a nightly basis through a
long series of modules, macros & queries. Lately, it fails regularly(but not
every night) with the folowing error message:
"Run-time error 3011 - The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object 'Scripts'..."
The error occurs as the module executes a macro which contains a list of
queries.
It fails at an update query which is meant to update a table that resides in
the back end database
It seems that after running for 1-1.5 hours, all query objects disappear
from the database and thus, the module fails. When I close Access and then,
re-open it, every query contained in the database show up.
I would appreciate any guidance regarding this matter.

Thank you

Which version of access do you have?
I suggest to update your access with the latest service packs to start with.

Raoul,

We use Microsoft Access 2000 but it appears that we have no service packs
installed.

Thank you for your help.
