MSysDb object

When trying to open a database that may have become corrupt, I get a message
"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object MSysDb. Make
sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name
correctly." (Error 3011)

Is there a way to fix this? The same message occurs when trying to compact
and repair, new from file, and when trying to import objects from that
database into a new one. Thanks in advance...

Hi Nick,

you db is doa... you might have some success using a recovery service
(we can give you some recommendations if you want to go this route) ...
otherwise, you will need to use your last back-up. Among other times,
this type of corruption seems to happen when problems occur during
compact/repair.

Warm Regards,
Crystal
