Microsoft Java VM not working

For some reason my MS Java VM stoped working. I've since
uninstalled it and reloaded it. I even reinstalled XP
(Update Only). The Java console appears in the browser as
does all the settings in the Advanced Options but when I
load a page that request the VM I'm prompted with a pop-
up to install Java VM. By the way. The web app that I
need only works with MS Java.
Any help?
