I am actually using Explorer version 7. I am getting error messages telling
me that I need a Microsoft Java Virtual Machine. Could someone give me a link

Can't be the MICROSOFT JVM. Microsoft is not allowed to distribute it.

You can get the Sun JVM at http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
