Microsoft Internet Explorer quit working

Need Help - my Firefox works just fine but for some strange reason, Internet
Explorer just sits there with the hour glass running. It doesn't indicate
that it's searching for a web site - in fact I don't have much control over
the page. No menu bar showing either.

This happened all of a sudden.

Help & suggestions greatly appreciated.

Problem fixed - had to remove add-ins and start over.

Windows Desktop Search may be causing a problem if installed.
