Microsoft Global IME for Office XP can't work in internet explorer

As I'm intended to use Chinese for Word and Excel, I installed Microsoft
Global IME for Office XP and it works perfectly on Office applications. From
my understanding, this IME shoould work with Internet Explorer as well, but I
can't use it at all, I'm unable to access it, and the language bar won't
appear on IE. Even I press the shortcut key to switch language, it doesn't
work too! FYI, I'm using Windows ME, IE6, Pentium 4 CPU with 256MB.

Sorry. This is the Microsoft Access Database newsgroup. It appears
