How do I fix the following errors?

Message 1:

Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage

The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable
disk that is not available.

Insert the 'Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage' disk and
click OK.

NOTE: ASSUME THAT THE CD IS NOT AVAILABLE.




Message 2-a:

Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage

Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your
connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential
solutions to this problem, see C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/
Office 10/1033/SETUP.HLP.

Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Professional

FP is missing some feature and needs to reinstall it. Don't think you can
get out of this without your disc.

It appears it was installed in an alternate method requiring the disk in
order to run the entire program.

The program needs to be reinstalled using the install to hard drive option.
And, you're going to need the disk.

So there is no file you can download from Microsoft?

I know your problem because it also happened to me; see what you can tell me:
1. Tell me if you still watching your thread. I can help you on this difficult one.
2. If you still have your CD: 'Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage' disk.
3. If you 've make a copy of that CD or have it copied in your hard drive.
4. Because that CD if you got there have scratches and your CD drive cannot read the necessary files. YES, you can
repair your CD by making the scratches more transparent so the data are visible for reading. Buy scratch remover.
5. My last one is very important -- waiting for your reply to install it correctly this time.


No...you need the FP installation CD!
