Excel Microsoft excel drop boxes

Hi

I am currently working on a drop box which has a lot of entries. Is there a way to search the drop box by typing and it will match the closest results.

eg if i type in A it will cut down my list to everything begining with A

Is this using a cell with data validation to create a droplist? Or are you using a control of a sort? If you're using a control, what kind of control is it?
