Microsoft Certified

When viewing other companies software/databases i have noticed that thay have
a logo to say their software/database has been certified by microsoft.

What exactly does this mean and how would one go about getting their
database certified?

You can't get your work certified except to run on Windows. Individuals can
be certified in the various Microsoft technologies by passing tests. Have a
