Microsoft can't open weird extensions

Error msg says Microsoft can't open mdb(and other)funny extensions unless it
knows program that made it. How do I open these files without knowing
programs?
 
Well, an MDB is an Access database (or a Jet database, to be more precise.)
You need Microsoft Access to be able to open it.

It's not that unusual that you must have the program to be able to open the
file.

In general, go to a website like http://filext.com/
