Microsoft Antispyware Beta.

I have just re-installed my version of xp sp2 on my laptop and have noticed
that MS Antispyware doesn't seem to be working anymore, I have re-installed
it many times and have tried turning it on. The icon is in the tray but when
i goto the main window it says the 1 of 3 Real time protection is active. I
have gone into each section but nothing is there. I cannot get into any
section or activate any checkpoint. I Have run multiple AV scan's and have
even downloaded all the patches and reinstalled windows, so that the machine
has never been on the net.

ANY IDEAS?

Try these two solutions:

1) do an update install--control panel, add or remove
programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update.

Then, try these steps:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without
the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware
