I am trying to open a microsoft access file. The file size is 4135kb and the
name for some reason has saved as a shortcut on the disc. Is there any way
of changing the file so it can be opened and the information be read?
 
Hi Mark,

You might want to verify that the file extension did not somehow get changed
from .mdb (Access database) to .lnk (shortcut). If you create a brand new
Access database, can you import the objects from the 4135kb file?
