Hi all,
my microphone recently quit working for some unknown reason, and i do not know what is going on, i checkec everything possible, i used 2 different microphones, and still, nothin, my audio is perfect, and i am getting really angry at this complication, that is why i am asking anyone for their advice

You said you have checked everything possible. Does that include checking
the mic volume to see that it is not muted, and that the slider is up on the
volume control?

Well I had the same problem and scanned about 40 or 50 of these messages and found that no one ever solved there problem and got back to the group. Either they solved the problem and didn't have the courtesy to let others know how they did it or they are still fumbling around with the same unsolved mystery. Well I'm here to tell you that I solved my problem by downloading the latest version of DirectX 9.0b. The mike is working great now! Hope this helps all you other people
