Microphone

Hi We have never been able to get the microphone to work.
We tried hooking up the one on the moniter that came with
the computer and no luck. I recently went out a bought a
headset/microphone setup and the microphone still doesnt
work. If anyone could help, it would be great. By the
way the speakers work fine. Just can not talk on
microphone or record. This is on a comp running xp.

Cathy:
Have you checked to make sure that you have plugged you mic into the proper
input for your sound card? If in doubt, consult the card manual or look at
the input hole and make sure you are plugged into the one that shows a
Microphone.
