microphone

i have my microphone plugged and somehow i was playing around with the
settings and now everytime i speak in the mic it makes a screechy noise in
the speakers so basically i hear my self wat do i do

1. Open the 'Volume' control dialogue box

a. double click the speaker icon in the task bar

or

a. open control panel
b. select 'Sounds and Audio Devices'
c. select the 'Audio' tab
d. click the 'Volume' button in the 'Sound playback' section


2. In the 'Volume Control' dialogue, Click 'Options' - Select Properties -
click 'Playback'
3. Under 'Show the following volume controls', Place a check mark next to
'Microphine' - click 'OK'
4. In the 'Volume Control' dialogue, , place a check mark next to 'Mute'
under microphone
