Micro Soft Word

When I open Doc's from work on Outlook Express Micro soft Words open. The doc
will appear but I can not scroll it and the following message appears.
Microsoft visual c++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
program:c:\program file\microsoft
office\office 10\winword.exe abnormal program
termination Is this somthing wrong on my end or in what they are sending me?

Was the document composed using MS Office 2007?

Was the DOC attachment (I presume) sent using MS Outlook and RichText or
HTML formatting?

Did you try saving the DOC file to, e.g., My Documents and then opening it?

Is your machine fully patched at both Windows Update and Office Update?

There's something wrong at your end, and it's that you're asking this
question in the WRONG GROUP.

One of the Office/OE groups in that web interface you are using would help
more - but first read the below before posting - this will give someone a
chance to solve the problem.
At the moment, one would need a crystal ball :-)
