Micorsoft pop up

Every time I open a new window with my Iexplorer
browser, I get a pop-up that reads "Micorsoft" & not
Microsoft. When I left click the tab the window
disappears into the bottom right hand side of my taskbar.
Can someone tell me what this is? Do i have a Virus or
something? Rob

Sounds like spyware. Run these tools:
spybot -- http://www.safer-networking.org/
ad-aware -- http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

had a same problem on my comp.... try using a a spyware
program... www.lavasoftusa.com is a good option
