*.mht file Play music automatically

Roy

I have a wonderful ppt presentation. I have all music set to play
automatically after the last even. I converted to an mht file and posted to
the web. It renders beautifully, but the sound won't play automatically. It
only plays when I click on it.

I can get to the mht core file directly. Here is a sample of the code:

<p:animation number="6" delay="4000" type="noBuild" effect="cut"
direction="noBlack" slidecount="0" flag="4356"/><p:blush:nmouseclick
action="playMedia"/> <p:media type="midi" length="99856"
href="song1.wma"/>

Obviously the "<p:blush:nmouseclick" is what is holding things up. What is the
play automatically code for this?

Thanks,

Roy

You might want to change from .mht to htm, and check this out

Thanks, Michael,

I have several pieces of music throughout the presentation, several of which
need to span multiple slides. Gosh, it seems to me that this should be easy,
given the state of technology today, but all of my research tells me
otherwise. It is possible to play one piece of music per slide, or one piece
of music per presentation, but not one piece of music over multiple slides
and then another piece of music over another set of slides.

What you say is quite true, but it can be done quite easily, if your not
putting your presentation on the web. If your musical selections start one
after the other, you could combine them all as one selection and adjust your
slide timings to coincide, and then publish to a web page

You also could create a frame 100% high and a 100% wide for each set of slides, add the corresponding sound clip to each frame; you'd start with your first frame, run the set, then the last slide on this first frame would link to the second frame, run the set, the last slide in the second frame would link to the third frame, and so on. Thus each set of slides ( or pages) contained in each frame would display its own melody.
