I have downloaded MSN Messenger. I have Windows XP.
For some reason, whenever I try to read something with
Adobe Reader, the Windows Messenger box comes up and says
it is installing. Then an error message comes up that it
cannot install and it reverses and causes all kinds of
problems with Adobe. I cannot cancel, I can't do
anything. If I go to Control, Alt, Delete, then I get in
more trouble. It just keeps on trying to "install" and I
get the error message again. What can I do to stop this?
HELP!!!!!!

Debbie,

I have the same problem and have found one other post
beside yours. I may use System Restore to see if that
works....forward any answers or solutions to
(e-mail address removed) and I will do the same for you.

Irritating, is'nt it!

Debbie,

I fixed my problem...I used System Restore in Windows XP
to restore the operating system to a point the day before
I had the problem. Now it works fine but be advised that
any software installed after the restore point will have
to be reinstalled.
