I removed Messenger but still get the taskbar icon when I open outlook
express. Anyone can tell me how I get rid of it.

If you dont use Messenger at all just goto C:\Program Files\Messenger and
just rename the folder to something like MSN Messenger. This will not it
never run again until you rename the folder back. you will need to check
you task manager to make sure it's not running before trying to rename the
folder.
