Messenger will not save my .NET password

Windows Messenger will not save my .NET password even when I check the box in the sign in dialog that sets it up to save the password.

I have Messenger set to open when I log in to Windows and to sign in automatically. It doesn't do this. I have to manually sign in each time.

I'm running Messenger in XP Pro under a limited user account with the firewall enabled.

How do I resolve this problem and get Messenger to sign me in automatically with my .NET account?

Hi!

This may help you.

goto control panel click on user accounts, again select user accounts(if
control panel is set to show in catgory view). In accounts window select
your user name and select the option change my .Net passport. rest wizard
will guide you.

Thanks,
