messenger problems

i have alot of problems with messenger it stales all the time and then
freezes my hotmail so i cant use either ,then the icon disapear and it all
goes off,i have ran spyware,antivirus ,everything to protect my pc but
messenger just wont work

First, make sure you're using the latest version of Windows
Messenger. It's available here:
