Messenger Does not Auto start after Antispyware install

After installing MS Antispyware on 15 machines, not one will auto start
Messenger 5.1 without putting it in the startup folder. This should not be
required due to the settings in Options. Has anyone else seen this problem?
Is there a fix?

He likes living on edge. You could check under Tools > Realtime Protection >
View All Blocked Events to see if there is anything associated with
Messenger 5.1 that has been blocked.

Also check under Advanced Tools > System Explorers > Startup Programs, to
see if its blocked there from starting up. I am assuming that you had
manually put Messenger 5.1 in the Windows Start up folder, but MSAS probably
blocked it anyway and you did not mention anything about checking the
Startup Programs section in System Explorers.

First of all, I believe in using what works. And when you have nit-wits
around you like I have you have to be armed with good tools. MSAS has solved
every problem they have thrown at me. I know, betas are not always that
trustworthy but I feel this one is.

OK I have checked the Startup programs and it says it should be active on
startup, but it doesnt. My system is pretty clean and there are NO blocked
events. This doesnt make since. I have tried blocking it then unblocking to
see if a setting is off somewhere. Messenger was working perfectly until I
did the last full install of MSAS.
