messenger 6.0

After installing those windows xp updates I have a
nagging popup to install messenger 6.0// I did it and now
I can't get it off my computer. Howcan I get rid of this
Microsoft intrusion?
 
Greetings mog,

To uninstall MSN Messenger 6, click Start, then Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs,
then click MSN Messenger 6 and then click 'Remove'.

You can then install the proper version of Windows Messenger (which is different from MSN
Messenger 6) that is the proper upgrade to current Windows Messenger clients here:
