I ran the NTFS command line to convert my hard drive, Big
mistake, instead it changed to a RAW format, has only one
else seen this and if so can I recover my data,
unfortuantly I didn't do a back up(Stupid me)Any Ideas?

All I can say is to take it to a shop that does data recovery. Although I
hear that it costs hundreds of dollars.

You can purchase software to recover the data (or some/most of it.) The
software isn't cheap though. Go to www.ontrack.com.

Thanks for the heads-up - I was just thinking about doing the FS upgrade
myself.

Just don't install it on the same drive. You will most likely overwrite
data.

Very, intensly, true. I would install it on another, working, machine -
then connect the drive in question to that machine as a slave.
