Messaging Interface has returned an unknown error

I am getting the following message when clicking on Sent Items in Office 2007:
The Messaging Interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists , restart outlook.
I have restarted outlook hundreds of times but it is still the same.
Email still appears to work OK, it's just the sent items.
Has anyone got any ideas.
 
Try resetting you view on the folder;
View-> Arrange By-> Custom...-> Reset Current View
