Messages vanish

After I click on All Read, all the messages disappear instead of
remaining marked as red. How can I remedy this. It only started
happening today.

happening today.

Problem solved. Somehow in View, the check appeared next to Unread. I
didn't change that from All, but some mysterious force did. Anyway, I
have gotten my read messages back.

Change the view from hide read messages to show all messages.
